I have a deck with no stairs. Apparently, building a deck is not that expensive...but putting stairs on that deck...WOW! So we've been getting bids to see if we can have some put on this summer. It would be nice to walk out the back door and right into the back yard...instead of out the front door and around to the back. (I told Lee I'd build them, but for some reason he's not comfortable with that plan...!) Oh well. Maybe next year.
And to all my fun cousins...it was great to see you ladies at the shower! I'm looking forward to the next one. I'd like to have a McPhie gathering out here at my house, so details are in the works and should be forthcoming! (Although, unofficially, you are all welcome anytime! Just call...I'm probably home!)

I think Chad could build you a deck...it's not like it would have to be WAY off the ground or anything! As long as he gets advice from guys who know how, I'm all for it...I'll even come help build! (You know I likes me some power tools!)
I TOTALLY want to come see your new house! And yes, the progressive dinner was supposed to include my house, Shawn & Rhoda's and yours, but I don't think we can fit everyone at my house... maybe I can be drinks or something. Or we do have a pretty big backyard so maybe, MAYBE we could sit and do something out there. But you two have WAY funner houses!
If I invite you to my house then can I make your "Favorite Reads" list??
