So my kids were out playing in the dirt. The conversation goes like this:
Spencer: Mom...Look! I found a caterpiller!
Mom: Wow...that's great!
Spencer: Ouch! (throws caterpiller...) It bit me!
Sydney: (picking up caterpiller) Duh! Caterpillers don't bi...Oww! (also throws caterpiller)
Mom: (laughing too hard to say anything at all!!!)
Where is the video camera when you need it? :D

Classic! So, they bite huh? Good to know, now I'll have one more thing to tell my kids so they don't pick up pasty bugs and try and show them to me!
Well, I'm assuming it was actually a caterpiller. I wasn't RIGHT there, so I don't know for sure. It still makes me giggle every time I hear Syd's little voice in my head!
